First time in Almora District hospital a Total Hip replacement was performed by Dr Saurabh Talekar and team. earlier patients with neck of femur fractures had to travel all the way to Haldwani to get such services. However with his extensive training in Adult Hip and Knee surgeries Dr Saurabh Talekar made it possible to perform such a procedure at this rural hospital located in the Hilly areas of Uttrakhand.He was felicitated by the Red Cross Community for this deed
